Farmers’ Market at Howard County General
Buying and eating fresh local produce in Howard County just got easier! From June 4 through October 29, local farmers will set up a weekly outdoor market at Howard County General Hospital in the back section of the visitors’ parking lot to offer the best of their seasonal harvest.
Market hours will be from 2 until 6 p.m. every Friday – just in time to stock up for the weekend.
The market is part of the Howard County Economic Development Authority’s agricultural marketing program to support local agriculture. Howard County Farmers’ Markets are producer-only, which means vendors can only sell what they grow or produce from products raised on their farms. They feature the season’s freshest, locally grown produce, baked goods, fruits, flowers, and specialty items like honey and soap.
